We hope you were not too badly affected by the flash floods last night. The Village Hall had its own fair share of water last night (luckily we we were having a meeting). Water was pouring in the back door, and you can see from the photo that your community councillors were hard at work … many thanks to residents in South Street for their assistance with mops, buckets etc.
