We are pleased to pass on great news about the Village Hall and Park. The Council have agreed to:
1. approve the plan to renew the existing Hall lease for a 5 year period, and delegate authority for the agreement of the lease to the Chief Operating Officer for Infrastructure and Environment in consultation with Convener and Vice-Convener of the Finance and Economy Committee;
2. approve the proposal to put a long term lease in place for the Park for a minimum period of 25 years with the option to purchase at any time to be included within the agreement, with delegated authority for the agreement of the lease to the Chief Operating Officer for Infrastructure and Environment in consultation with the Convener and Vice-Convener of Finance and Economy Committee; and
3. approve the officer recommendation to develop a detailed plan to support the community.
